DIY Studded Jacket

Step 1. Find a cute Jacket. I chose this PU leather jacket because I like the edgy effect on it.

Step 2. Get any studs or spikes of choice. I ordered these online. they are square 5mm silver studs.

Step 3. Start setting them in place. These particular studs have 4 prongs on each stud which I simply bend using a quarter.

And here is the finished product!! After a few hours and numb fingers it is done!!
What do you think??

Here is some inspiration for this DIY

DIY Rhinestone Shoes

So I got this crazy idea of making some awesome shoes that shine oh so prettily...So far I have only finished one shoe and took me many hours of hard work, dedication and patience.. I used regular rhinestones because using Swarovski Crystals would have ended up being too expensive and completely defeat the purpose of having some sparkly shoes at a great price. I spend about $30-$40 on all my rhinestones and supplies. I used three different sizes: 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm mixed with a light pink, rose pink, and fuchsia, all flatback no hotfix rhinestones, and E6000 permanent glue and some tweezers to pick up the rhinestones..

I decided to use some cute wedges because I'm not much of a heel type but these shoes are super comfortable...

Next, I mixed all my rhinestones together in a bowl... then I poured some on a foamy sheet thingy to pick them up more easily...

Now the fun part!!... GLUE THEM ON!!
I outlined the top first using the 3mm rhinestones. Next, for filling the inside I glued them randomly with no specific pattern with all mixed sizes. I tried to glue each as close as possible to avoid having any big gaps between the rhinestones. While the glue was still fresh I just moved them around until I found the right place for them to set.

Make sure to glue in small sections, otherwise the glue will dry quickly and leave you with a bulky dry patch.

And finally after many dreadful, excited, and tiresome hours of work.....

Let them dry for some hours and then wipe the excess glue with some rubbing alcohol if any got on top while gluing.. The shine is outstanding for them to be regular rhinestones, especially in the sun. I can't wait to finish the second shoe and wear them out!! ^_^  ....

So what do you guys think??

Thrifty Blazers :)

I went to the thrift store the other day looking for some cute blazers, and I'm surprised I actually found some cute ones. I will be taking out the shoulder pads on some because they make my shoulders look more broad. Reminiscing of the Past

I remember when I was a kid I always wished I could be grown up. Now all I wish  for is to have that simple life that I once had as a child.
People say as we grow so must our wisdom, our intelligence, but no one really understands the true meaning of what that is.
I used to believe that adults knew everything. I always considered them to be right in all situations. And I honestly wanted to be one of them.
Now, I am older. I am not wise, nor do I know everything. Instead what I have discovered is that as we grow, life gets harder because we have forgotten what it was to see the world in a simple colorful way.
As we go through our daily routines, we slowly start to forget what our hearts desired as children. We forget what our hope was for the future.
I can say that when I was younger I couldn't wait to be grown up. I wanted responsibilities not knowing what that was. I wanted a career. I wanted to do it all. I wanted to take care of animals. (not the children of today kind) but actual cute animals, such as cats or crocodiles. I wanted to be an Artist, I wanted to draw and paint the world the way I used to see it. I wanted to be successful and have people come to me for answers as I once did with the adults.
As each year passed all I saw was my dreams diminishing amongst a shadow of hope. I was slowly becoming an adult. I always did my best. I tried my hardest in all that I did. I put my heart and soul in everything I wanted to accomplish. And so towards doing all that, I have come to the realization that adults are no better than children who wish to one day become them.
As I've gone through these 22 years, I've learned many things, some good, some bad. But what it all comes down to is that only ourselves can determine where our lives will head. No adult in this world is perfect. We all have demons inside, waiting to be unleashed into the world. And whether we choose to follow those demons or gather up the courage and strength of our hearts to tackle life with all the fire that guides us, the choice is ours, and no one else can chose the life you live.

So, What will you choose?

New Jewelry!! Saturday shopping. ^__^

Hello Friends!
I've been getting tons of ideas about improving and growing my blog, but anyways, I will do my best to start executing my ideas into actual actions haha.. Anyways, Saturday I went to Cherry Auction which is a flea market sort of thing, anyways, I went with my lovely boyfriend, He is the nicest most ... ahem.. "patient" guy lol.. no, really, he is good at letting me shop and holding things for me ^_^. He is so supportive and I love him very much. Anyways, we went and I bought a ton of cute jewelry for $1.. I think that's pretty darn awesome, especially since they're really cute and fashionable pieces. I'm thinking about adding something to the simpler ones.. maybe adding a flower or something.. we'll just have to see..so, let me show you.. :)

These Earrings are SUPER adorable, I love the black onyx detail and they have rhinestones which add a little glamour to them. This was a Great Find!

I also found a necklace that would match with the elephant earrings. I Love how versatile these can be.. Best thing about them is they also have RHINESTONES!! ^_^

I really liked these earrings because they look so edgy and freaking cute! :)

When I saw this necklace , I really wanted it. Not only does it match the earrings above but it looks like it was more expensive then what it actually was. That was a GREAT deal! I Love the spikes on this!! :)

As some of you may already know, I am mega obsessed with feathers.. I'll do a separate post on all my feather earrings another day.. I just have so many >_<
Well, I saw these earrings and I absolutely LOVED them!! OMG What's cuter than feathers and dream catchers?? How about Dream catcher earrings?? lol

These are freaking amazing!

I also got these... So darn cute! :)

And last but definitely but most certainly not least, I got these mega cute green feathered earrings!! cost only $2!! can you believe it?!! :) I'm going to pair these cuties up with an ultra cute outfit for St. Patrick's Day :) Stay posted for my St. Paddy's Day Look. ^_^

I'll probably add a green rhinestone to the center of the flower just because I think it will add a little more sparkle to them :)

I also got some bangles here... I just need to find a way to make them cuter lol.. I really like the Owl though .. for some reason he makes me smile ^__^

 Isn't He adorable??!!? :) ->

Well, That was it.. if you guys have any ideas, suggestions, or comments on what you would like me to post or what you saw on my blog feel free to let me know :)
